Lesbian Pride 3

June 2018 gave us a little controversy, but from it blossomed a delightful new Lesbian Pride flag! Lydia from Mi'kma'ki in Canada gives us this design, which was then revised for visual harmony by Maya Kern.

Lyda chose the colors based on a poem by Sappho that speaks of her lover wearing violets, rosebuds, dill and crocus twined around her neck - giving us the colors of violet (Sapphic Love), rose pink (Fragility), yellow (Strength), and green (Healing) for the stripes of this flag.

To read Lydia's words about this design, read part of the inspirational poem, or find the codes for the exact colors chosen please see Lydia's post here.
