Intersex Pride

Morgan Carpenter, as co-chair of Organization Intersex International Australia, offered this flag so that the Intersex community could finally have it’s own unique symbol and flag. He strove to create something that was firmly grounded in meaning in both color and symbol.

  • Circle: Represents wholeness, completeness, and the intersex people’s potentiality.
  • Purple & Yellow: Chosen because they are and have always been gender-neutral colors.
